Joel Andrews

Owner

Joel Andrews is the owner of Prince William Sportz & Entertainment (formerly JumpnProductions) and returns to the world of athletics after being inspired by his oldest daughter’s quest to play college field hockey. Joel created her recruiting video and was soon asked to create videos for her teammates. Jumpn Productions was born and the legend began!  Two years later, he re-branded and PWSportz & Entertainment came alive.

Joel has a wide background in broadcasting, video and athletics. His sports media career began when he created the first men’s and women’s soccer recruiting video in 1988 for Radford University while also broadcasting Radford HS basketball and football on WRAD Radio. Throughout the years he has broadcasted high school and college athletics in Virginia, Mississippi and Nebraska including being a sideline reporter during the 1995 NJCAA National Championship Football game in Texas. While in Mississippi, Joel was also co-host of a highly successful daily sports talk show while also hosting his own weekly college basketball show.

Joel’s background in both video and athletics gives him a unique perspective in not only filming athletic events but also special occasions. Years in broadcasting has given him the ability to “anticipate” upcoming plays or special moments after the big picture has been taken.

Ryan Nelson

Play by Play

Ryan Nelson joined PW Sportz prior to the 2016 High School football broadcast season as a game day analyst. He did so well, that by the end of the season, he was doing Play by Play as well.
Ryan’s deep interest in the world of sports began early on in his life. Whether it be from watching Virginia Tech and New York Giants football games growing up or the fact that he played soccer beginning at the age of five and through high school. Ryan has been passionate about sports his entire life. Upon unofficially retiring from the game of soccer after playing varsity at Warwick High School in Newport News, Virginia, Ryan graduated and went on to pursue a degree from George Mason University in Government & International Relations. While a freshman at Mason, Ryan was able to experience the Men’s Basketball team magical run to the Final Four in 2006 and followed the team to Indianapolis as a member of the Patriot Platoon school fan group. Ryan’s knowledge and experience of sports comes from a lifetime of following many teams and playing multiple sports. He also manages and writes his own sports blog in his spare time. Ryan currently works full-time for Prince William County Government and lives in Bristow, Virginia with his wife Diana and two dogs, Kali and Turcayco. He did so well, that by the end of the season, he was doing Play by Play as well.

Justin

Play by Play

Justin Richards is a lifelong Virginian.  He was born in Falls Church and grew up in Manassas.  His love of sports started at a young age.  Growing up, he played baseball, football, and inline hockey.  He didn’t have the physical attributes or talent to play sports at a higher level, so he decided that becoming a sports broadcaster would be the next best thing.

Justin joined Prince William Sportz and Entertainment prior to the 2017 high school football season.  He is a longtime fan of the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, Washington Nationals, Washington Redskins, and Maryland Terrapins.

He now resides in Warrenton with his wife and their four children.  He is a stay at home dad by day, and works in customer service during the evening.

Noah Fleischman

Play by Play

Noah Fleischman returns for his fourth season with PWSportz.  After being the lead broadcaster for the past two years, Noah heads off to VCU to continue his education and begin his quest to become a professional broadcaster.  Noah will work part time with PWSportz as his schedule allows as he will also broadcast NCAA Division I sports at VCU.  His knowledge and insight of game action has brought him accolades from coaches, parents and listeners. Noah also earned the Rich Murray Journalism Scholarship from the Virginia Sports Information Directors during his Senior year at Brentsville District high school. Noah’s knowledge comes from a love and interest in sports and a lifetime of attending NFL and college basketball games. This led to his fascination with sports reporters and broadcasters. His enthusiasm can be seen when writing for the Prince William Times and VCU’s student newspaper, The Commonwealth Times. Though a freshman at VCU, Noah has aspirations of one day announcing the Super Bowl.

Torrey Dixon

Camera/Interviewer

Torrey Dixon, a local face from Alexandria, VA moved to Woodbridge, VA where my road to success would begin. Finishing elementary school at Swans Creek Elementary (Dumfries, VA) then moving on to middle school attending Potomac Middle. Here I would be a three sport athlete playing basketball, football, and running track winning championships each year. Soon after, I moved on down Panther Pride Dr. to Potomac Senior High School where I would then become just a two sport athlete playing football and basketball. During my time here, I earned many awards like all-conference, 1st team all region/state, a state championship, 6th man of the year, MVP, as well as many posting in the news paper and on Inside Nova. My biggest achievement was holding at 3.5 GPA in advance classes while playing sports. This allowed me to go on to play Division 1 Football at Bryant University (Smithfield, RI) where I would have a good career and exit with a BA Degree in Communication and a Double minor in Psychology and Management.
